Trace McCann is the Children’s Pastor at First United Methodist Church. She was born in West Point, Mississippi but was raised in Aberdeen, Misissippi. Trace attended Aberdeen High School, Mississippi College and Southern Baptist Theological Seminary. Trace has 2 years service at a youth minister, 2 years service in home missionary and 25 years service as a Children’s Pastor.
Trace is married to Bill McCann whom is the Chaplain at Regional Medical Center. They have two children: David who is attending Asbury College and Sarah who is in middle school. Trace’s favorite saying is “Preach the Gospel at all times. If necessary, use words.” (Francis of Assisi)
Trace’s verse for life is from Philippians 1:2 “And this is my prayer: that your love may abound more and more in knowledge and depth of insight, so that you may be able to discern what is best and may be pure and blameless until the day of Christ, filled with the fruit of righteousness that comes through Jesus Christ – to the glory and praise of God.”
