Richard Cheever is the Pastor of Visitation at First United Methodist Church. He was born and raised in Columbus, IN. He attended Eastern Kentucky University. Richard has been with FUMC since May 2008.
Richard and his wife, Jean, have 3 children: Kara, Todd and Kelli. Richard’s favorite scripture comes from John 19:30 “When he had received the drink, Jesus said, “It is finished.” With that, he bowed his head and gave up his spirit.” Richard has based his life’s work on the words written in Colossians 3:17 “And whatever you do, whether in word or deed, do it all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through him.”
